With today’s fast paced society, and increasing demands at work, it is inevitable that you get stressed out from time to time (especially when work is piling up, and deadlines for all of them are drawing closer and closer).

This is the exact reason why I am writing this post on stress today, because too much stress is harmful for your general state of health, making it prone to all sorts of illnesses in the long run.

These 3 tips that you’re going to discover are extremely easy to implement, and best of all, it doesn’t require too much of your time every single day (and yet at the time they worked extremely well in helping you reduce your stress levels):
 
 
1. Meditation For Stress Relief

What To Do When You Are Stressed: Meditation For Stress ReliefIn my personal opinion, meditation is one of the best ways to help you relieve stress.

What you’ll want to do here is to spend about 10 – 15 minutes each day in a room that’s completely distraction free, and do nothing but taking deep breaths (breathing in and then breathing out). While doing so, I want you to focus all your attention on your breathing, and nothing else…

If you like, you may wish to play some nice, soothing music, like sounds of the nature.

By the end of the 10 – 15 minutes, you’ll be surprised to find out how much more relaxed you are, and that all the stress seemed to have “melted away”.
 
 
2. Make Exercise A Daily Routine

Another way to help relieve some stress is to incorporate simple exercising into your daily routine.

What you will want to do here is to dedicate approximately 15 to 30 minutes of your time every single day working out – It can be from taking a slow jog around your neighborhood (or on the treadmill, whichever you prefer), practicing Yoga or Pilates, working out using the various exercise machines in a neighborhood gym, etc.

Exercising is not only a good form of helping one get rid of stress, but in the long run, it is also good for our general state of health.

So, make it a point to spend about 15 to 30 minutes of your time doing some simple exercises every day!
 
 
3. Laughter Is The Best Medicine

What To Do When You Are Stressed: Laughter Is The Best MedicineThis statement can never be more true… What you can do, when you are feeling all stressed out, is to go watch some short comedies (and while doing so, focus all your attention on the comedies that you are watching), and laugh as loud as you can…

At the end of it, you’ll find yourself feeling in a much more relaxed state that moments before.
 
 
As you can see from the 3 tips that I’ve just shared with you above on what to do when you are stressed, they are very easy to implement, and all it takes is just minutes of your time… And best of all, it pays huge dividends!
