With today’s fast paced society, and increasing demands at work, it is inevitable that you get stressed out from time to time (especially when work is piling up, and deadlines for all of them are drawing closer and closer).

This is the exact reason why I am writing this post on stress today, because too much stress is harmful for your general state of health, making it prone to all sorts of illnesses in the long run.

These 3 tips that you’re going to discover are extremely easy to implement, and best of all, it doesn’t require too much of your time every single day (and yet at the time they worked extremely well in helping you reduce your stress levels):

What To Do When You Are Stressed: Meditation For Stress ReliefIn my personal opinion, meditation is one of the best ways to help you relieve stress.

What you’ll want to do here is to spend about 10 – 15 minutes each day in a room that’s completely distraction free, and do nothing but taking deep breaths (breathing in and then breathing out). While doing so, I want you to focus all your attention on your breathing, and nothing else…

If you like, you may wish to play some nice, soothing music, like sounds of the nature.

By the end of the 10 – 15 minutes, you’ll be surprised to find out how much more relaxed you are, and that all the stress seemed to have “melted away”.
 
 
2. Make Exercise A Daily Routine

Another way to help relieve some stress is to incorporate simple exercising into your daily routine.

What you will want to do here is to dedicate approximately 15 to 30 minutes of your time every single day working out – It can be from taking a slow jog around your neighborhood (or on the treadmill, whichever you prefer), practicing Yoga or Pilates, working out using the various exercise machines in a neighborhood gym, etc.

Exercising is not only a good form of helping one get rid of stress, but in the long run, it is also good for our general state of health.

So, make it a point to spend about 15 to 30 minutes of your time doing some simple exercises every day!
 
 
3. Laughter Is The Best Medicine

What To Do When You Are Stressed: Laughter Is The Best MedicineThis statement can never be more true… What you can do, when you are feeling all stressed out, is to go watch some short comedies (and while doing so, focus all your attention on the comedies that you are watching), and laugh as loud as you can…

At the end of it, you’ll find yourself feeling in a much more relaxed state that moments before.
 
 
As you can see from the 3 tips that I’ve just shared with you above on what to do when you are stressed, they are very easy to implement, and all it takes is just minutes of your time… And best of all, it pays huge dividends!

Stress And Stress Management: What You Need To Do

As I’m writing this post, we are fast approaching the middle of the first month of 2012. And I hope that you are having a exciting and fulfilling year so far… I know I have… :)

Today, I’m going to write about stress and stress management.

The reason why I am writing about this topic today is because, over the past couple of weeks, I have been receiving numerous emails from my subscribers telling me they are struggling to cope with the demands of work (where many of them cited that their boss have been “throwing” more and more work to them since the start of the year), and hence they are feeling all stressed out trying to meet extremely tight deadlines.

Stress And Stress Management: Discover 3 Simple, Yet Proven To Work Tips To Help You 'Melt Away' Stress Instantly!

What I’m going to do is to share with you 3 proven tips that will help you relieve some stress, and making you feel better physically as well as mentally as a result:
 
1. Meditation

Stress And Stress Management: MediationI’m sure you’ve heard about this one. Meditation is, in my personal opinion, one of the best (as well as easiest) ways to help one relieve stress.

What you can do everyday when you get home from a stressful day of work is this – Find a quiet spot in your house (that’s absolutely free of distractions), and perform 15 – 20 minutes of deep breathing. While doing so, do NOT think of anything… Just concentrate on your deep breathing. If you wish to, you may listen to some soothing music while meditating.

You’ll find that, at the end of 15 – 20 minutes, you’ll feel like all the pent up stress has “melted” away and you suddenly feel that your head becomes “light” once again!
 
2. Exercise

Another thing you can do to help you relieve stress is to go for exercising on a regular basis.

What you can do is to dedicate about 15 – 20 minutes every single day doing some simple exercises – It can be from practicing some simple yoga exercises, or going for a short jog/run around your neighborhood. Alternatively, if you have an exercise ball at home, you can perform some simple exercises using that.

It has been medically proven that regular exercises do help one in relieving stress, as well as helping one become much more alert mentally (hence be able to perform well at work).
 
3. Laugh Every Now And Then

Stress And Stress Management: Laugh Every Now And Then...Heard of the saying, “Laughter is the best medicine”?

This saying is indeed very true. When you find yourself all stressed up, what you can do to relieve some stress is to watch some funny comedies and have a good laugh.

Alternatively, you can try recall some light moments you have where you had a good laugh – This will help you relieve some tension, as well as stress, that you may have.
 
As you can see from the above, stress and stress management is not a difficult issue to handle.
